Plain-language tooltips on the metrics

Hover any metric for a jargon-free explanation of what it means.

What it is

Consistent info tooltips across analytics and the navigation.

What it does

Explains AI-search terms, share of voice, citation share, query fan-out and more, in plain English, so you never have to guess what a number measures.

Why it matters

AI-search metrics are new to most people, plain-language definitions mean you can trust and act on the numbers without a glossary open in another tab.

How it works

A shared glossary powers a small (i) icon next to each metric and hover hints on the jargon-y nav items.

How to use it

  1. Open any analytics page.
  2. Hover the (i) next to a metric, or hover a sidebar item.
  3. Read the plain-language definition in the tooltip.
