ImprovedAI Engines

More reliable scans for Google and Microsoft engines

Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot and Brave AI scans now run on sturdier data sources with automatic fallback when one source has an issue.

What it is

An update to how WriteWorks fetches results from Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot and Brave AI.

What it does

Keeps visibility scans running smoothly by automatically switching to a backup data source if the primary one fails, and adapts Brave AI scans to whatever access level is available.

Why it matters

Fewer missed or incomplete scans mean more complete and trustworthy visibility data for these engines.

How it works

Scans now draw from an upgraded data source for Google and Microsoft engines, with a one-time automatic retry on a backup source if there is a failure. Brave AI connects directly to Brave's own service and automatically adjusts its requests to match the available access, remembering what works for next time.

How to use it

  1. Nothing to set up, scans for these engines now run with improved reliability automatically.
