The Framer connection writes into the CMS collections on a site you authorise. A draft is mapped onto collection fields once, and after that publishing is a click rather than a rebuild.
It suits the common arrangement where the site is owned by design and the content is owned by marketing: nobody has to open the design tool to publish a post, and nothing about the design changes when they do.

Pick the collection
Choose which CMS collection content should land in, for example blog or resources.
Map the fields
Match the draft's title, body, slug, summary and image to the collection's fields.
Publish and track
Approved drafts become collection items, and live URLs are tracked from then on.
