Webflow integration
Webflow content lives in structured collections, not documents. The Webflow integration maps a finished draft onto your collection fields and creates or updates the item, so the site stays the source of truth.
What the Webflow integration is
The Webflow connection writes into your CMS collections. You map a draft's parts to the fields on a collection once, and WriteWorks creates or updates items using that mapping rather than guessing at your schema.
Because Webflow separates content from publishing, an item can be created and left unpublished until someone reviews it in the Designer or Editor. The integration respects that: creating an item and publishing a site are two different decisions.
What you can do with it
Four questions the two data sets answer together that neither answers alone.
Set which part of a draft goes to which collection field, and every future item follows the same mapping without a manual step.
New pages arrive as items; existing ones are updated in place, so the URL and its accumulated authority survive the edit.
Items can be created unpublished, reviewed in Webflow, and published when the site is ready rather than when a job finished.
Once published, the URL is tracked for citations and search performance, and linked back to the brief behind it.
How the Webflow integration works

Connect your Webflow site
Open Settings, then Integrations, and choose Webflow. Authorise WriteWorks for the site you want to publish to; access can be revoked from Webflow at any time.
Pick the collection
Choose which CMS collection published content should land in, for example blog posts or resources.
Map the fields
Match the draft's title, body, slug, summary and image to the fields on that collection. This is a one-off setup per collection.
Publish and track
Approved drafts become collection items. Once live, the URL is tracked alongside everything else WriteWorks measures.

You bring your own account. The Webflow integration authenticates with your own account at Webflow, on your own plan and your own quota. WriteWorks reads the data that account already has access to, and nothing else. Disconnect at any time and the stored credential is deleted.
