Brand voice AI

Brand voice AI that writes the way your brand speaks

Generic AI writing sounds like everyone else. WriteWorks stores your brand voice and tone of voice guidelines in the Brand Hub and passes them to the AI every time it writes, so drafts from the editor, briefs, automations and Ask AI start out sounding like you.

The challenge

Why AI drafts lose your brand voice

Voice is the first thing to go when writing scales.

AI drafts all sound the same

Out of the box, AI writing tools default to a neutral, slightly breathless register. Without your voice in the prompt, every draft needs a heavy edit to sound like your brand.

Tone of voice guidelines are too vague to apply

'Friendly but authoritative' means something different to every writer. Unless the guidance is specific and sits where the writing happens, it is applied inconsistently.

Voice drifts across writers and tools

With several writers, freelancers and AI tools in the mix, the brand ends up with several voices. Readers notice, and so do the AI engines summarising you.

Pages are built for links, not answers

Content written to rank in blue links rarely carries the structure an assistant needs to quote it directly.

The solution

How WriteWorks writes in your voice

Voice and tone stored in the Brand Hub and applied on every draft.

The Identity tab holds a brand voice description: personality, values and how the brand communicates. The Tone tab holds your tone description, from professional to conversational, with as much detail as you need.

Measured as a real channel

“Before WriteWorks, our content landed and disappeared. Now every asset ships citation-ready, gets cited across the engines our buyers ask, and ties back to the loop. It's the first time we've measured AI search as a real channel.”

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything teams typically ask before getting started.

What is brand voice?+
Brand voice is the consistent personality a brand expresses in writing: the words it chooses, how formal it is and the attitude it takes. Tone is how that voice adapts to a situation. A brand can have one voice and several tones.
How do I write brand voice guidelines?+
Describe the brand's personality in a few specific traits, explain what each trait means in practice, and add examples of what to do and avoid. In WriteWorks, the voice description goes in the Identity tab, the tone description in the Tone tab, and concrete writing rules in Preferences.
Can AI write in my brand voice?+
Yes, if it is given your voice every time it writes. WriteWorks passes your voice and tone descriptions to the AI as part of the brand profile whenever it drafts for that brand, rather than relying on each user to paste them into a prompt.
Is there a brand voice generator?+
The AI field assistant works as one. Give it a short instruction, such as who you sell to and how you want to come across, and it drafts a voice or tone description. With existing text, it rewrites it to your instruction. You review and edit before saving.
Does WriteWorks score content for brand voice?+
WriteWorks writes from your voice and runs Brand scoring in the content editor, but it does not produce a standalone voice-analysis score of your existing content.
